Speech and language development opportunities are all around us such as during meal-, bath-, and bedtime, while playing and, of course, while reading!   This FREE 1-hour workshop will teach you to recognize growth moments within everyday routines and to implement strategies in manageable ways.

Join this “grown-ups only” event to connect with other parents/caregivers and enjoy light refreshments while learning practical tips to naturally support your child's speech and language development. Access resources that can support your child's use of different forms of communication, such as picture symbols and basic sign language.

Content will be:

  • Appropriate for children ages 6 months - 2 years, including those following expected development patterns and those with unique needs

  • Tailored for parents, guardians, grandparents, and other caregivers; applicable for daycare providers and early childhood professionals, too!

  • Presented by Elena Fader Hurlburt, an experienced speech-language pathologist and toddler-mom in the thick of real-life learning!
